All orders are confirmed by email before production or dispatch begins. Custom and made-to-order pieces require payment in full before work starts, as each is forged specifically for that order.
Prices are listed in US dollars and do not include shipping, duties or applicable taxes, which are calculated per order at enquiry.
Our knives, swords, daggers, axes and other edged tools are intended for legal use only by responsible adult buyers. We do not sell our products to anyone under the age of 18, and by placing an order you confirm that you meet the minimum age required to purchase edged tools and weapons in your jurisdiction.
It is the buyer's responsibility to check their own country's or state's laws before ordering. Some countries and states restrict or prohibit the purchase and import of knives, swords, daggers and related products through their Customs authorities — please confirm this is permitted where you live before you buy.
If your order is held, delayed or seized by Customs authorities in your country or state, York Vivant is not responsible for this and no refund will be issued. Any import duties, taxes or customs fees charged on your shipment are the buyer's responsibility.
Our tools are hand-forged to be genuinely sharp and are not toys. Open, handle and use every piece carefully, and store it safely out of reach of children and anyone who cannot use it responsibly.
York Vivant is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage associated with the use, misuse or handling of our products. By purchasing from us, you accept full responsibility for the safe use and storage of the item(s) you receive.
Stocked pieces typically ship within 3–5 business days of order confirmation. Custom and made-to-order pieces are forged to order and may take several weeks, depending on complexity and current workshop capacity — an estimated timeline is confirmed with every custom order.
Stocked items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original, unused condition for a refund of the item price, less original shipping costs.
Custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Wholesale, OEM and private-label orders are governed by a separate trade agreement issued at the time of quote, which takes precedence over these general terms for the items it covers.
